JOB TRAINING ART STUDIO COORDINATOR 
Primary Purpose:
The Job Training Art Studio Coordinator will oversee DAVA’s Job Training Studio Program, including curriculum development, teaching, and related administrative responsibilities.
Reports to: Director of Job Training
Position Type:
Part-Time (0.5 Full-Time Equivalent)
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver art curriculum for middle and high school students.
• Teach art classes of up to 15 students, fostering a supportive and constructive environment.
• Work with various studio art mediums, guiding students through creative processes.
• Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles in the classroom.
• Integrate STEAM concepts into art activities
• Design and implement innovative, empowering art projects.
• Ensure adherence to the Job Training Program structure, methods, and rules.
• Attend monthly meetings and provide reports on student progress.
• Supervise assistants, interns, and volunteers, offering guidance and support.
• Perform administrative tasks, including inventory management, studio cleaning, and reporting.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching and managing art classrooms.
• Experience working with diverse art mediums and teaching groups of up to 15 students.
• Strong commitment to DEI practices and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $25.00/hr
Expected Hours: up to 25 hours per week
Class hours: Monday – Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
