COVID Photo Diaries

For ten weeks, our students have worked remotely, addressing the current events through their own lens. Their photo-journal diaries have involved playful and poignant portrayals of their time during quarantine and stay at home orders.

DAVIRUS

Kusudama means “medicine ball” in Japanese, and the world could use one now.

Our “DAVIRUS” kusudama origami have gone viral by transforming into imagined depictions of COVID-19.  Building these delicate sculptures instilled a quiet focus for students during these challenging times.
