Honoring Viviane Le Courtois – 25 Years of Inspiring Creativity at DAVA
This year, we proudly celebrate Viviane Le Courtois, an extraordinary artist, educator, and visionary, who has shaped the creative journeys of thousands of young people at DAVA over the past 25 years.
Born in France and based in Denver, Viviane is known for her process-based, conceptual, and participatory art that connects everyday life to deeper social and environmental issues. Her work has been exhibited internationally, from the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver to Meow Wolf, and she is the recipient of numerous awards and residencies.
Since joining DAVA in the early 2000s, Viviane has transformed our programs, curating over 100 exhibitions, expanding our studios, launching the high school program, and inspiring students with her global perspective and passion for art. She currently serves as Curator and Director of Art Practices, continuing to dream big for the future of DAVA. Join us in honoring Viviane’s incredible legacy and the countless lives she’s touched through art.
